David Kleiman has a litigation practice, with emphasis on cases involving construction law, business and consumer disputes, interpretation of contracts, and surety and fidelity law.  He became licensed to practice law in 1986.  David has counseled and represented clients on issues including:

  • commercial and residential construction disputes, including those involving foundation defects, mold claims and other construction defects
  • claims involving the Residential Construction Liability Act and the Texas Residential Construction Commission
  • surety bond claims and litigation involving private, state and federal construction jobs
  • general business disputes and litigation
  • lien laws for private and public projects
  • fidelity bond litigation involving the defense of financial institutions, commercial insureds and fidelity insurers 
  • interpretation of contracts and agreements
  • claims involving misrepresentations and violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act
  • construction defaults
  • product warranty litigation
