This includes individual and class action lawsuits over misapplication of plan assets, improper denial of medical benefits, and improper calculation of retirement plan benefits.
FMLA (Family Medical Leave Act)
The FMLA provides an employee with a right to take leave for a personal or family medical condition. Two issues may arise under the FMLA giving rise to a dispute. If an employer interferes in an employee's right to take leave under FMLA or retaliates against the employee for taking leave under the act, an employee may be able to bring a case against the employer. Our attorneys have assisted employees who suffered as a result of taking leave under the act. We also represent employers who are defending FMLA claims against them. At Kleiman Lawrence Baskind Fitzgerald LLP, we will thoroughly evaluate your claim and provide you with representation you need to protect your rights.
